mission
The Bharatiya Academy is committed to provide a learner friendly environment and has been set up under the aegis of Soni Foundation Trust (SFT) and the Eco Development Foundation (EDF). This is a movement undertaken to make available education to create a knowledge society, primarily in the rural areas where 75% of India's people dwell.

The school is progressive and child-centred with objectives that include:

Fostering the natural all-round development of children.
Providing various opportunities to actively interact with the environment in a fast developing world.
Encouraging creativity, independent thinking and respect for the child's individuality.
Developing scientific approach and reasoning in day to day life.
The Bharatiya Academy has admission to elementary level only. The school is co-educational and will have classes upto the 12th. Bharatiya Academy follows the NCERT/ CBSE pattern of curriculum.

The School today
The Bharatiya Academy, at present has a total strength of nearly 100 students. These students are supported by donations received as scholarships. Boarding will commence from April 2006, and funds are urgently needed. The funds are to be utilized for
